Tell us about your role: As an arboriculturist at Seattle City Light, we help manage trees and vegetation within our service area to support grid reliability, public safety, and environmental stewardship. Arboriculturists support many different tasks, including fielding tree-related customer concerns, performing tree risk assessments, and tree planting and replacement project support.

What energizes you and brings you excitement? I love working alongside others who care deeply and are committed to their jobs/projects. Seeing their hard work energizes me and keeps me feeling engaged.
What advice do you have for those who are new to City Light? Get to know your coworkers, including those in other business units and City departments. You can learn a lot from those around you.
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend? Hiking, surfing, or skiing depending on the weather
What’s your favorite type of weather, and why? Clear blue skies after a snowstorm
